Heidi, Seal, and Cubs Hop From One Vacation to Another

Heidi Klum, Seal, and the kids looked adorably touristy with all their camera bags and fresh tans arriving at LAX yesterday after another vacation. From slopes to sand, these five have had quite the series of Winter trips so far. Speaking of trips, I thought last night's prom-dress episode of Project Runway was hilarious and awesome. My favorite challenge this season, and maybe in the top few ever. Heidi looked particularly fabulous, to boot. My favorite dress won (yay), while the person who was eliminated definitely messed up. I can't believe we're basically halfway done with the season already. Check out Buzz's recap of last night's high-school madness.

CoolTouch Inc. Responds to Cynosure Patent Infringement Lawsuit

ROSEVILLE, Calif., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- CoolTouch Inc., a pioneering manufacturer of medical lasers, states the CoolTouch CoolLipo(TM) 1320 wavelength laser was designed to be superior to the Cynosure SmartLipo 1064 technology and does not infringe. Among other reasons, the CoolLipo incorporates state-of-the-art 1320 nm laser technology, coated fibers, and a variety of handpieces which allow the fiber to be extended beyond the end of the cannula, thereby not infringing the '873 patent whose claims require that the fiber must be adjacent to the end of the cannula. The CoolTouch advantage of extending the fiber beyond the cannula helps prevent inadvertent heating of the cannula and assists in cutting connective tissue.

Additionally, thousands of pulsed Nd:Yag lasers with specifications identical to the SmartLipo have been sold since the mid-1980s.

It is gory, and dangerous

He disowns the responsibility of the Kargil adventure and repeatedly says that he was not in the picture. This may well be true because Gen Ayub Khan also did not know when Zulfikar Ali Bhutto sent the infiltrators into Kashmir in 1965.

Both Mr Nawaz Sharif and Gen Ayub Khan came to know about the hostilities when they were in the midst of war. However, since the nineties, people-to-people contacts have themselves become an institution in the two countries. Civil societies on both sides have responded well and they would like to bury the hatchet. It would be a tragedy if the ISI were to reactivate the Babbar Khalsa to revive terrorism in Punjab, as reports indicate. President Pervez Musharraf has never thought of dismantling the training camps in his country.

What is worrying the domestic scenario in Pakistan.

Jose Canseco Tries to Drag Magglio Ordonez Through the Mud But Only ...

I don't think anybody was under the impression that Jose Canseco's motives in helping to blow the steroids controversy wide open was completely altruistic. But he is going to be looked upon as a necessary catalyst in helping get this problem in the spotlight with his first book. But for those who want to look upon him as some sort of protagonist in this mess, there's this:Jose Canseco offered to keep Magglio Ordonez "clear" in his upcoming book if the Detroit Tigers outfielder invested in a movie project promoted by Canseco, The New York Times reported Wednesday night.Extortion, huh Jose? Great. So much for that Pulitzer Prize. More after the jump. The newspaper cited "a person in baseball with knowledge of the situation" in a report on its Web site and said four people in baseball, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Major League Baseball referred the matter to the FBI.Ordonez decided not to go forward with a complaint, so the FBI didn't open a formal investigation, the newspaper said.
