A security nightmare
Just because you don't see us doesn't mean we don't see you," Colburn said. On Capitol Hill, lawmakers from northern border states remain frustrated. Given the outrage over undocumented workers flooding in from Mexico, they remain skeptical the Border Patrol will ever pay enough attention to the northern border. "They aren't leaning forward on this," said Rep. Norm Dicks, DWash., a member of the House Homeland Security Committee. Congress wants to add as many as 600 additional agents to northern border patrols. But some say even that isn't enough. "There will still be a huge inequity," said Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash. "We do have problems with illegal immigrants on the southern border, but we have problems with terrorists on the northern border." CANADA'S TERRORISM RISK Given Canada's open immigration policies, terrorist organizations have established cells there seeking "safe havens, operational bases and attempting to gain access to the USA," according to a 1998 report from the Canadian Security Intelligence Service.
TNA Against All Odds PPV Reax #1: " Of all the excessive interference ...
Terrie Neilson of Las Vegas, Nev. (6.5): Best: Machine Guns/Lethal vs. 3D/Devine Worst: way too much interference! Right out of the gate, my score is based on the play-by-play reviews as opposed to actually seeing the PPV. TNA wants so bad to swing for the fences, yet barely seems to be able to swing a double inside the park. Less is more when it comes to PPVs, except for the strictly gimmick matches (Abyss-Judas/Mitchell and MCMGs/Lethal-3D/Devine) specifically designed to have bells and whistles in them. Of all the excessive interference used, the one least needed was Kong's assistant. I suppose it was meant to protect ODB somewhat, but it takes Kong down a peg from her unstoppable persona. Her speaking on behalf of Kong is acceptable; distracting opponents for her isn't. My major soapbox issue outside all the interference is that Williams needed the win more than Steiner at this in his career.

Ike Turner died of cocaine overdose
But last month, Mia Turner told the North County Times that the idea that her late father had drugs in his home at the time of his death was "an out and out" lie.The news that cocaine played a role in Ike Turner's death was surprising and disappointing to band mates who had performed with him in recent years."I really thought that was something he was finally able to put past him," saxophone player Leo Dombecki said. "I'm sure that will go down as another strike against the guy."Bass player Kevin Cooper also said he thought Turner had long ago put his illicit drug use behind him."It sucks, that's for sure," Cooper said. "What could have driven any man into doing that, especially at that age? It just seems unreal, completely unimaginable."Cooper was the music director on Turner's 2006 album "Rising with the Blues," that won a Grammy last year.
